What is your most prized possession?
My most prized possession is my passport. It opens the door to the world and is the key to experiencing new cultures, languages, and traditions. I love to travel locally, nationally, and internationally and look forward to having a stamp on every page of my passport.
What is something few people know about you?
I'm a huge football fan, but few know that if I had to choose a profession other than teaching, I would be an NFL line judge. I have a good eye for detail and love to be in the middle of the action, attributes which make me a perfect candidate.
What do you do to stay healthy?
As a former college athlete, health and fitness are an essential part of my life. I feel best when I engage in daily exercise and eat a healthy diet. I try to eat a balanced diet and make sure I do at least one physical activity a day. My favorites include swimming, running, hiking, yoga, and lifting weights.
Are you a good listener or a good talker?
I consider myself to be good at both listening and talking, both of which I think important elements of friendship. My friends and family would most likely consider me a good listener because I am much happier to help others through difficult situations than discuss my own.
Name 3 characteristics that you look for in a friend.
Honestly, loyalty, and a sense of humor. I look for friends who are honest with me, no matter how difficult that might be, who stand by me through thick and thin, and who can partake in my favorite pastime: laughing.
